About the Project

The purpose of this mid-rise residential development was to insert a well-mannered, contextual building into the fabric of a precinct in transition from industry to mixed residential and commercial uses. Located just east of Liberty Village, Parc fills in the street wall along a residential block just south of King. On the east face of the building, grade-related units and their front yards are screened by a custom-designed wrought iron fence inspired by tree branches. On upper floors, angular glazed balconies create an animated, playful façade that matches the mood of the neighbourhood park. On the west face of the building, a more linear, rational pattern of balconies punctuates the façade.
