About the Project

Located in an established, but rapidly evolving neighbourhood, 775 King Street West is a 300,000 sqft development that is carefully designed to respond to the scale and streetscape of its surrounding context.

At grade, on King and Tecumseth Streets, the five-storey building is accentuated with brick cladding that compliments the robust character of the former warehouse district. Additionally, the already low-rise building is further set-back around a landscaped courtyard and internal café and amenities area. The massing around this courtyard successfully creates a strong relationship between interior and exterior spaces for its residents, and creates direct pedestrian access to both King Street and car and bicycle parking.

A candidate for LEED Gold certification, the development is completed with a clean, modernist, 17-storey high-rise building that grounds the corner of the city block without visually or physically overwhelming the neighbourhood. It stands as the final industrial site developed in the area, continuing in the positive tradition of carefully designed, connected, and liveable residential buildings.
