About the Project

Ventus is a part of the Metrogate development and is an award winning multi-phase LEED Neighbourhood Community incorporating a series of environmentally conscious measures. Featuring two luminous towers connected by a spectacular central lobby, Ventus reiterates the aesthetic of the preceding buildings at Metrogate with both curved and flat edges, while boasting an individual elegance.
The location of the towers minimize shadow impacts to the park and minimizes green house gas production. Additionally, the promotion of local alternative transportation uses is emphasized, as it is adjacent to a major vehicular artery, and steps from public transit. Suite layouts are designed to maximize on natural day lighting in order to reduce supplementary lighting while the built form incorporates balcony slabs and overhangs which provide shading during the summer months, minimizing on mechanical cooling demands.
