ABOUT THE PROJECT

This 120,000 square foot residential condominium project is 10 storeys high and includes 8 sky penthouses, 24 upper and lower penthouses, 61 new lofts, and 10 modern glass town- houses. The ambition of this project is to make a modern community of residences where the residents share a peaceful protected garden that is in the middle of a busy city. This project aims to make urban living a pleasant experience, and encourage greater levels of urban den- sity by demonstrating that a high quality life can be lead in a well-designed building in the middle of the city. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors look out onto park and city views. Deep balconies and terraces project strong horizontal bands of shadows that give a remarkable presence to this building. The basic ‘L’ shaped plan of the overall building is formed to provide a protective shield around a landscaped atrium/garden. This peaceful crisply detailed space has been equipped to include a stand of birch trees, stone-lined reflec- tive pool of water and fountain, and an ambitious sculpture garden.

Comments

meh

Like the raw concrete underbelly of the balconies.
Hate the stonework - it's already dated.

The fascia of the rooftop roof should be 3-4 times as thick and be a vibrant colour.

:)

Architectural style's starting to get repetitive, stale, even formulaic. Fit and finish is an issue when seen in person. Don't like the unpainted balcony undersides. Overall, I 'like it.'

Fabulous!
