Because this looks less like a spiritual building and like a business park building for suburban offices of KPMG!

That's a temple! what a piece of s**t. the 2nd photo makes it look like they installed a drive thru window so you could pray without getting out of the car.

this place gives me bad vibes. demolish this, jesus!

The architecture isn't befitting a temple. It's more like a second-tier shopping mall or small town high school. It lacks any strong feature in its design, and all its details are soft. One might get the impression that the architect was reluctant to design a temple at all; it looks uninspiring. If you want to see a well done contemporary place of worship in Scarborough, look to the Scarborough Baptist Church by Stephen Teeple with a clear minimalist design language, engaging details, and the overall calm yet dynamic atmosphere of contemporary church architecture.

I thought it was a transit station. Couldn't figure out where to buy a ticket...
