Situated in Toronto’s historic King West district at King and Spadina, M5V is a spectacular, innovative jewel soaring 34 storeys high. The slender appearance of this tower is characterized by the juxtaposition of two masses sliding past each other. This is accentuated by a wall of coloured-glass rising up on the King Street façade. These impressive arrays of coloured-glass panels produce a melody of musical patterns and curtain the full height of the building. To further highlight its unique personality, balconies reach out beyond the structure, providing marvellous panoramic views of the whole city. With these elements, residents at M5V take full advantage of its beautiful structure, allowing for an open-air lifestyle in a bustling setting. Moreover, passers-by enjoy a cinematic view of interlocking volumes, sliding shapes, and colourful display of glass.
