St Gabriel Manor is an 8 storey residential building situated along Sheppard Ave, East of Bayview Avenue, and is part of a larger development known as St Gabriel Village that includes two 19 storey buildings with a 12 storey podium, as well as 3-storey townhouses facing the residential neighbourhood to the north. St. Gabriel Manor provides a street edge for the development and contributes to the development of Sheppard avenue East. The retail space at grade enhances the streetscape and provides visual interest for pedestrians. The building steps back at the 6th floor to create terraces with views of the city and to provide a transition to the existing 3 storey townhouses to the north. The building’s sloped roof provides an ideal location for solar panels, used to reduce the building’s energy consumption.
