About the Project

400 Wellington West is a 102 unit, 12 storey mixed use building with a front landscaped courtyard that is fed by rainwater flowing from a green roof over the entrance lobby. It takes its design cues from the character masonry buildings that line King and Wellington Streets. At the outset, the intention was to create a building that was at at home in this context. The building's massing has been articulated to reinforce the vitality of Wellington Street and the existing pedestrian connection to King Street West. 400 Wellington is defined by the high quality of the exterior masonry detailing, which is a rare find in Toronto these days!
