About the Project

An infill project in King and Spadina’s warehouse district, this building captures the vitality of King Street while responding to the dense building fabric that surrounds the site. The frontage along King Street is defined by exterior balconies supported on a light steel framework that rises to a height of seven stories to match the neighbouring building to the east. Above this height the building is terraced back to reduce its impact on King Street and to provide generous outdoor living areas for the upper residential suites. At the back, the building overlooks an existing landscaped courtyard that is shared with the residential development to the north. The plan is carved out in the northeast corner to provide the maximum amount of separation between neighbouring buildings in order to increase access to daylight and views. All parking is underground and is accessed by an existing ramp on the neighbouring property.
