About the Project

Couture is located on Ted Rogers Way, which acts as an extension of Jarvis St. North, connecting to Bloor St, in Toronto. This 42 storey building houses 476 residential dwellings. It's creation is innately responsive to the existing structures through visual distinction by complimenting and contrasting the older solid facades, resulting in a unique signature along Ted Rogers Way.

The tower rests on a 2 storey podium that grounds the building, reduces downward winds and smoothes the transition of the tower to grade. The podium houses the amenity areas of the building which further animate and enhance the pedestrian realm.

The building is composed of three vertical divisions which are highlighted by an inset vertical column. This approach enables the emphasis on natural light for residents by way of corner windows. This maximizes views for residents and creates visual interest from both internal and external perspectives.
