| DEVELOPER'S COMMENTS: The Panache Condominium is an example of urban infill that garnered the support of the community rate payers, local councilor and planning staff through an extensive consultation process. The new development was developed on an existing surface parking lot, which secured the retention of the existing rental apartment units and provided a necessary integration into the Eglinton Avenue street frontage. A modern blue tinted glass and precast façade creates a contemporary built form that masses its density to the Eglinton frontage, while stepping in on both sides to protect light, air and window setbacks to the neighbouring buildings. |
